Présentation de l'artiste
Stacy Jones, musicien versatile des basses Laurentides, s’est d’abord illustré en studio dans les années 80. En 1987, il lance son premier album « Eleven Days » dont la chanson thème a parcouru les radios canadiennes et européennes. Suit « Eyes in Motion » en 1988 puis une pause de près de 20 ans. En 2009 vient « Back to the Highway » qui marque son retour officiel. Avec « Next to Eleven » en 2011, Stacy reprend la route avec son band et parcourt avec fierté les scènes locales. / Stacy Jones, versatile singer songwriter from the Lower Laurentians region, first rose in studio in the 80’s. In 1987, Stacy Jones launched ‘’Eleven Days’’, that dominated both the Canadian and European air waves. « Eyes in Motion » in 1988 was also a great success. After a 20 year break, he launched in 2009 « Back to the Highway » that marked its coming back. With “Next to Eleven” in 2011, he’s now touring on the local scene with its new band.

« Next to Eleven » contient 12 chansons originales et une version renouvelée de « Eleven Days », succès des années 80. Enregistré au Blue Bridge studio au nord de Montréal, il a été mixé par Olivier Robitaille (Acapella Studio) et masterisé par Marc-Olivier Bouchard (Lab Mastering), connu pour son travail auprès de nombreux artistes québécois. Unique, il marie le son des guitares, des cordes et des harmonies vocales qui rappelle les années 50 à 80. Les textes parlent de société, des hommes et d’amour et touchent par leur originalité. / Featuring 12 original songs and a remake of Eleven Days, « Next to Eleven » was recorded at Blue Bridge Studio (Laurentian), mixed by Olivier Robitaille (Acapella studio) and mastered by Marc-Olivier Bouchard (Lab Mastering), also known for his worked with Quebec’s top artists. With a mix of guitars, strings and vocal harmonies that remind influences from the 50’s - 80’s, we are touched by its texts that talk about society, human nature and love.
